Christmas Debris

Well, this is my living room floor....the debris of Christmas day. It's still there, and I may or may not get around to cleaning it up today.

I never feel completely ready for Christmas day, and I always end up thinking that next year I will have everything done a month early so that I can just rest, enjoy my family and the holidays. Well, maybe next year I will.
Even though a lot didn't get done, our 5 year old had a blast and that was the most important thing on my list this year. After present mayhem we had a lovely brunch with the parents, and a really restful day.
I hope you all had a really enjoyable Christmas too!

Jingle Music

I'm working into the Christmas Spirit by listening to music on Pandora. My husband showed it to me and I love it. It's like making your own radio stations. Just enter in a few of your favorite Christmas songs, then it finds similar. As songs pop up you can mark them with a thumbs up, or mark it as thumbs down and it won't play again. So far I have about 7 channels, from early rock like Fleetwood Mac and Three dog night to classical and even an industrial station...I like a variety =).
Nope, I don't work for them

Viktor the Nutcracker

Still working on embroidery. I really enjoy it, and it's a nice break from painting when I can't seem to get inspired.

I just listed this guy in my Etsy shop...the name Viktor just seemed to suit him.
